Schedule

• Remove trees for realigned Washington St and other locations
• Establish erosion control measures
• Install temporary traffic signal at the intersection of IL 59 & Grand Ave

• Install temporary pavement on the west side of IL 59
• Remove concrete medians at the intersection of IL 59 & Grand Ave and replace with temporary pavement

• Stripe temporary pavement markings and shift traffic on IL 59 to the west, traffic on Grand Ave will remain unchanged and Washington St will be closed to through traffic south of Grand Ave
• Install storm sewer on the north side of Grand Ave
• Install storm sewer, ditching, aggregate base, curb & gutter, pavement widening, block retaining wall and guardrail on the east side of IL 59 south of Grand Ave
• Install light pole foundations and wiring on the east side of IL 59
• Construct realigned Washington St

• Stripe temporary pavement markings and shift traffic on IL 59 to the east and shift traffic on Grand Ave to the north
• Install storm sewer, aggregate base, curb & gutter, pavement widening and multi-use path on the south side of Grand Ave
• Install storm sewer, water main relocations, ditching, aggregate base, curb & gutter, pavement widening and muti-use path/sidewalk on the west side of IL 59 south of Grand Ave
• Install light pole foundations and wiring on the south side of Grand Ave

• Stripe temporary pavement markings and shift traffic at the intersection of IL 59 & Grand Ave
• Reconstruct pavement at the intersection of IL 59 & Grand Ave
• Excavation and placement of aggregate base, curb & gutter, pavement widening and sidewalk on the north side of Grand Ave
• Excavation and placement of aggregate base, curb & gutter, pavement widening and guardrail on the west side of IL 59 north of Grand Ave

• Stripe temporary pavement markings and shift traffic at the intersection of IL 59 & Grand Ave
• Excavation and placement of aggregate base, curb & gutter, pavement widening and guardrail on the east side of IL 59 north of Grand Ave
• Reconstruct Washington St just south of IL 59 and pave multi-use path to realigned Washington St
• Install traffic signals and light poles

• Pave final layer of hot-mix asphalt surface
• Place permanent pavement markings
• Turn-on new traffic signal at IL 59 & Grand Ave and IL 59 & Washington St/Grant Community High School entrance
• Turn-on new street lighting
• Landscaping and cleanup
