The new traffic signal at IL Route 59 and the realigned Washington Street/School Drive will be activated on Monday, August 4.
On the same day:
- Washington Street will fully reopen.
- The new entrance to Grant Community High School will be accessible to all traffic.
- A new multi-use path connecting the realigned Washington Street to the intersection of IL 59 and Grand Avenue will also be open for public use.
