Due to the weather, the traffic switch has been rescheduled for Monday, April 14th.
This traffic change involves shifting traffic on IL 59 to the west, from just north of the new school entrance to north of Grand Avenue. There will be no changes on Grand Avenue. This adjustment will allow the remaining work to commence at the intersection and the reconstruction of Washington Street at IL 59. The realigned Washington Street and new school entrance will remain closed until the new signal is installed and activated.
Message boards will be in place to notify the public of the traffic switch.
